The all-new 2007 Nissan Sentra is solid, has a new engine, chassis and styling, positioning it near the top with its great value-for-money appeal.
The high-performance SE-R and SE-R Spec V roll off the Sentra ramps midyear. The SE-R has a 177-hp 2.5-liter 4-cyl and a CVT; Spec V also has a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder with 200 hp and a 6-speed manual.
The 2007 Sentra gets a longer 5.9 inch wheelbase and is 2.3 inches longer overall. It is available in Base 2.0, 2.0 S, and top of-the-line 2.0 SL models. All Sentras have a 140-hp 2.0-liter 4-cyl engine; the 2.0 and 2.0 S come with a 6-speed manual transmission; optional on the 2.0 and 2.0 S and standard on 2.0 SL is a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT).
