Rogue’s standard QR25DE 2.5-liter, DOHC, 16-valve, in-line four-cylinder is rated at 170 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque tuned to provide ample torque in the low-to-mid rpm range for smooth, powerful acceleration and quick initial response from a standing start. Combined with the standard Nissan Xtronic CVT, the engine offers smooth, linear and responsive acceleration with high-efficiency operation.
Body and Styling
The Rogue’s exterior is designed to present an image that's aggressive and sporty. Its sleek masculine styling includes dynamically arched forms and powerful rear shoulder lines. The interior integrates style and utility. It includes a driver-oriented cockpit, available leather-appointed seating surfaces, fold-flat front passenger seat, and steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. Utility is enhanced by numerous convenient storage spaces and ultra-functionality features, including an oversized, partitioned glove box, a large dual-level center console and an available innovative rear cargo organizer.
Safety Features
Rogue boasts a long list of standard safety features, which include zone body construction; advanced air bag system (AABS) with dual-stage front air bags and occupant classification system for the front passenger seat; and front seat active head restraints. Front seat-mounted side-impact supplemental air bags and roof-mounted curtain supplemental air bags with rollover detection are also standard. Rogue also comes equipped with standard power-assisted front and rear vented disc brakes having a standard anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution and brake assist.
