Trim Levels (Exterior)
The ARIYA offers several trims to match different tastes. All models come with 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and power-folding mirrors. The Engage and Venture trims have LED lights and come in colors like Black Diamond Pearl, Gun Metallic, and Boulder Gray Pearl. For added luxury, the Evolve+ and Empower+ have a panoramic moonroof and a power sunshade.
Engine (Power)
The ARIYA's electric system delivers a strong performance in all the available models. The single-motor front-wheel drive setup provides 238 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque. For added power, the dual-motor all-wheel-drive e-4ORCE system combines the front and rear motors to produce a robust 389 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. This system uses a liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery pack with an 87-kilowatt hour capacity, and the onboard charger works at 7.2 kilowatts, while DC fast-charging tops out at 130 kilowatts. A single-speed direct-drive system handles transmission in both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive setups.
Performance
The ARIYA's performance varies depending on the trim, with a driving range of between 205 to 304 miles. The single-motor front-wheel-drive version goes from zero to 60 mph in 7.5 seconds, reaching a top speed of 103 mph. The impressive dual-motor all-wheel-drive version impresses goes from zero to 60 mph in 5 seconds, hitting a top speed of 128 mph. Charging is fast, with a 10%-90% DC fast-charge time of 40 to 42 minutes. Fuel economy is excellent, with front-wheel-drive models getting 98 MPGe combined and all-wheel-drive versions reaching 90 MPGe combined. The ARIYA handles well, showing as 0.85-0.86 g on a 300-foot skidpad and going from 70 to zero mph in 168 to 176 feet.
Interior
Tech and comfort mix well inside the ARIYA. Two 12.3-inch screens fill the dashboard, showing vehicle info and entertainment options. Some trims offer a head-up display, displaying critical data on the windshield for easy viewing. Leatherette-covered seats give a high-end feel in all models, and with some trims, the Intelligent Around View Monitor helps with maneuvering. An Intelligent Rearview Mirror is also available for better vision. Music lovers will enjoy the rich sound from the Bose premium audio system with 10 speakers, which is available on higher-end trims.
