5 Signs Your Nissan Needs a Transmission Repair

When you experience problems with the transmission, this can lead to serious damage to your vehicle and cost a significant amount of repairs. It's important to become familiar with the warning signs of transmission problems. You can visit your Nissan dealer service center for transmission repair and avoid further damage or failure. 5 Signs Your Nissan Needs a Transmission Repair at your Local Nissan Dealer more 1. Unusual Noises When Your Car Is in Neutral If you hear unusual noises coming from your car while it's in neutral, this is a sign that your transmission is malfunctioning. While these noises may indicate a need for new transmission fluid, which can be handled by a professional technician, more serious issues may require further repair or replacement assessment. 2. Your Vehicle Doesn't Switch Gears When your car refuses to change gears, or this process becomes a struggle, there is likely a problem with your vehicle's transmission system. One of the most common reasons for difficulty in switching gears is low transmission fluid or using the wrong type of fluid, which must be corrected by your local Nissan expert. 3. Burning Odor It's important to visit your service center right away if you notice a burning smell coming from your vehicle. This odor is usually a sign that your transmission is overheating, which also causes your fluid to burn. It's essential to take your vehicle for assessment immediately after you notice this odor, as any delays in repairing your transmission can lead to further damage and may require a full replacement. 4. Fluid Leak One of the most accessible signs of transmission trouble is a leak, which often appears beneath your car in the parking lot. This fluid is red in color and has a sweet odor, which indicates the fluid level in your transmission is low, and your technician will need to inspect your car to determine if there is further damage. 5. Shaking and Grinding When Changing Gears When you switch gears and you notice shaking or vibration, this is a sign that there are issues with your transmission. While this problem may not appear serious at first, a professional must inspect your vehicle quickly to prevent further damage to your transmission or other parts of your vehicle. 4 Benefits to Getting Car Financing at Your Nissan Dealer

Are you getting ready to start shopping for your next vehicle? Wondering how you can make the smartest purchase possible? Getting car financing from your Nissan dealer is one of the best ways to afford something quality. But that's not the only benefit you can expect when you visit your dealer's financing department. Here are a few great reasons to get financing: 4 Benefits to Getting Car Financing at Your Nissan Dealer more 1. A More Flexible Budget If you buy your car in cash, then you're likely not going to be able to get exactly the vehicle you've been dreaming of. You're going to have some major budget constraints you need to consider, after all. But with financing, you'll only put down a portion of the car's total cost as your down payment and pay the rest off later, meaning you can afford to splurge on something higher quality. 2. No Collateral Necessary With certain types of loans, you may be required to put down collateral. This is so that the lender can ensure that even if for some reason you're unable to finish making your payments, they won't be at a loss. But not everyone is comfortable with providing collateral. When you get financing for a vehicle, the car itself will act as the collateral, meaning you don't need to worry about losing anything aside from your car if the unexpected happens and you can no longer make your payments. 3. Build Your Credit Score What's your credit score? A low score can seriously impede you financially. You'll find it difficult to get things like loans, rental properties, and even some jobs. That's why it's a good idea to keep it as high as possible. One way to boost it is by getting a car loan. Car loans are super easy to get even if you have a low credit score, and you'll quickly boost your score when you make your monthly payments on time. 4. Financing Incentives If you're buying a brand-new car, then your purchase may be eligible for some incentives. You should ask your dealer what incentives are available for the vehicle you're purchasing. Incentives are a way for your dealership to sweeten the deal a little and encourage you to make your purchase with them. For example, you may be able to get lower interest rates which will help to keep your monthly payments affordable. Buying a new car is exciting, but it's important to be financially smart about your purchase. That's why you should consider getting financing for your vehicle and get yourself a high-quality car. Are you ready to learn more about how our financing department can help you? Visit us today at Tony Nissan.
