The heiau (Hawaiian temple) at Keaīwa Heiau has been used since ancient times as a place of worship and sacrifice. Aiea Bay State Recreation Area

Aiea Bay State Recreation Area is a great place for the whole family. The park is located on the leeward coast of Oahu and offers some beautiful scenery, including a white sand beach and views of Aiea Bay. There are also picnic areas, which are perfect for family gatherings.

The park has over 6 miles of hiking trails that wind through ancient Hawaiian agricultural terraces and rainforests. You can even see some ancient Hawaiian fish ponds when you hike there.
