1. Tour the Hawaii Plantation Village

The town of Waipahu was previously a well-known sugarcane plantation town. This area was home to a sugar mill and plantation that began in 1897 as the Oahu Sugar Company. For nearly 100 years, the Oahu Sugar Company was the leading producer of sugar on the island. The Hawaii Plantation Village tells the story of the booming sugar industry on the island.


The village is composed of a museum and several restored buildings of plantation structures from the time. During your tour, a local guide will take you back in history to experience more than 25 authentic homes and structures filled with historical artifacts, clothing, furniture, and art. 2. Play a Round at Royal Kunia Country Club 

The Royal Kunia Country Club offers stunning panoramic views of the entire south shore of Oahu. From this area, you’ll be able to see Pearl Harbor, Diamond Head, and the Waianea mountain range. 3. Go Soaring at iTrampoline Hawaii

This place is Oahu’s first and only trampoline park! The large indoor playground features a variety of trampoline games, including dodgeball and basketball. 4. Take a Trip to Pearl Harbor

Located six miles from the town center, Pearl Harbor is the infamous monument that marks the resting place of the soldiers killed during the attack on Pearl Harbor. At this historical monument, you’ll learn about the pivotal moment the United States entered into World War II. Entrance into the Pearl Harbor National Monument museums & grounds are free.
