Without regular rotation, you’ll soon find your car’s performance dropping, your expense on new tires rising, and you might even suffer a skid or blowout on the road. Here are five ways to know you should visit your local Nissan dealer for tire rotation without delay.
Does Your Nissan Need a Tire Rotation?
Your Tires Are Wearing Unevenly
While checking the air pressure of your tires each month, also check the tread wear on each tire. If you find that individual tires are wearing down more on one half of the tire than the other, it’s best to have your tires swapped around so the unevenly worn-down tires don’t become too thin on one half and risk losing traction or suffering excessive damage from the road.
All four tires should also be wearing down at a roughly even rate to each other. Often, the tires at the front or the rear wear down faster because of the uneven distribution of weight in a car, or uneven pressure from acceleration and braking. If you find that the tread depths on two of your tires are much shallower than the other two, it’s time to have them rotated.
Air Pressure Is Dropping Unevenly
The excessive weight placed on one or two tires can sometimes lead to a slightly quicker loss of air pressure. If you find that one or two tires need more topping up with air each month than the others, give them a break by rotating your tires.

Tires usually last around four to six years when well-maintained. So if you find yourself buying a new set of tires every three years, you might need to have them rotated more frequently.

Great Japanese cuisine served in a welcoming, friendly atmosphere makes Hashi Okazuya one of our favorite places in the area to get a meal. Some pan noodles with shrimp tempura, fried chicken, or cone sushi will give you a satisfying meal that packs plenty of bold flavors.
